Turn scattered data into decisions you can act on

Dynamics Services Group designs the dashboards, data models, and reporting foundations that give leaders one trusted view of the business, and give teams the numbers they need to act while it still matters.

What leaders get

One version of the truth

Agreed definitions, governed data, and reports that answer the question in the meeting, not three weeks later.

Why it matters

Data is everywhere. Clarity is not.

Most organizations already collect plenty of data. It sits in your CRM, your finance system, spreadsheets, and a dozen exports that never quite agree with each other.

The result is familiar: reports that take days to assemble, metrics defined differently by every team, and leadership meetings spent debating whose number is right. We build the connective layer that ends the debate, so your people spend their time on the decision instead of the data.

What we deliver

Six capabilities that turn data into direction

01

Reporting Modernization

Replace manual spreadsheets and one-off exports with governed, automated reporting that refreshes on schedule and stays consistent from one month to the next.

02

Power BI Dashboards

Interactive dashboards built around the questions your teams actually ask, with drill-down detail, role-based views, and a layout people open every morning.

03

KPI Design

Work with your leadership to define the measures that matter, document how each is calculated, and agree who owns it, so everyone reads the same number the same way.

04

Data Modeling

Well-structured semantic models drawn from Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and the systems around them, built for speed, reuse, and reports that scale without being rebuilt.

05

Forecasting

Trend analysis and forward-looking views for pipeline, revenue, demand, and capacity, with the assumptions shown so planning conversations stay grounded.

06

Executive Insights

Concise scorecards and narrative summaries that put performance, risk, and opportunity on one page, ready for the boardroom without a week of preparation.

The analytics delivery framework

Five phases from raw data to confident decisions

01

Discover

Interview stakeholders, inventory data sources, and identify the decisions your reporting needs to support.

02

Define

Agree KPIs, definitions, and ownership, then design the data model and report layouts before building.

03

Build

Develop data pipelines, models, and dashboards in short iterations, with your team reviewing as we go.

04

Validate

Reconcile outputs to source systems and have business owners confirm the numbers before anyone relies on them.

05

Enable

Train users, document the solution, and tune adoption so the reports keep getting used after launch.

Who it helps

Built for the boardroom and the front line

Good analytics serves different people differently. We design each view around the decisions its audience actually makes.

For executives and owners

See the whole business at a glance

Scorecards that connect sales, service, finance, and operations, so strategic calls rest on current, consistent numbers rather than stitched-together slides.

For finance and strategy

Plan with evidence

Forecasts, variance views, and scenario comparisons that make budgeting and planning cycles faster and easier to defend.

For sales and service leaders

Coach from real activity

Pipeline health, case trends, and team performance drawn straight from Dynamics 365, so managers act on what is happening this week.

For operations teams

Spot issues while they are small

Operational dashboards with thresholds and drill-through detail that surface bottlenecks and exceptions early, without anyone building a report by hand.

Outcomes

What changes when the numbers finally agree

Practical improvements you can see in daily work, described honestly because every organization starts from a different place.

Faster, calmer reporting cycles

Automated refreshes replace manual assembly, so month-end and board packs stop consuming days of analyst time.

Shared definitions, fewer debates

Documented KPIs mean meetings start with the question, not an argument about where the figure came from.

Earlier warning, better timing

Trend lines and thresholds help teams see slipping pipeline, rising backlogs, or margin pressure before they become quarter-end surprises.

A foundation that keeps growing

Reusable data models and documented measures make every new report quicker and cheaper to deliver than the last.

FAQ

Questions worth asking before you build

Do we need Power BI, or can we use what we already have?

Power BI is our usual choice for organizations on Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365 because it connects natively and scales well. We start by reviewing the tools and licenses you already have, then recommend what fits your needs rather than defaulting to a new purchase.

Can you bring together data from more than one system?

Yes. Combining sources is a core part of the work. Dynamics 365, Dataverse, finance and ERP platforms, databases, and spreadsheets can be modeled together so reports reflect the whole business, not a single system.

How do we decide which KPIs to track?

We begin with the decisions your leaders need to make, then work backward to the few measures that inform them. Each KPI gets a clear definition, a data source, and an owner. Fewer, better-defined measures almost always beat a crowded dashboard.

How do you make sure the numbers can be trusted?

We reconcile report outputs against source systems and ask the people who own the data to review and sign off before launch. Calculation logic is documented, so any figure can be traced back and explained.

What should we prepare before a first conversation?

A short list of the decisions you struggle to make with current reporting, and the systems where the relevant data lives. We will ask the right questions and shape scope and next steps together.
